When annoyed Vayu gets in touch with in the respiratory system (PRANA VAHA SROTAS), it upsets the kafa, and creates wheezing sound, inflammation, shortening in breathing mainly to breathe in. therefore the exhalation becomes prolonged then inhalation. Due to poor supply of oxygen to lungs, a very strong drive resulting from oxygen deficiency in blood, then in brain and then in the bodily tissues occurs.
Thus patient feels restlessness. He rises from bed and sits with the support of both hands and bends forward. This position of sitting provides some assistance to him due to relaxation in the chest muscles. The chest muscles become little bit inflexible due to extra efforts in breathing and aggravation of Vayu.
